Teaching that meets you where you are

We teach with precision, the details matter, because that is where progress happens.

Every class has intention, alignment, and space to explore your boundaries.

Options are always offered, whether you are returning from injury, building strength, or deepening practice.

CHOOSE YOUR CLASS

Vinyasa Flow

with Annis

Who's it for?
People who want a strong, flowing practice with music and intention, anyone craving a nervous system reset.

What does it feel like?
Dynamic and breath led, building heat and resilience, then easing into a yin inspired unwind so you leave grounded.

Top Tip
Start slower than you think, control first, speed later.

Mindful Movement

with Julie

Who's it for?
Beginners, people who want mobility and flow without intensity. Great if you want to learn the basics.

What does it feel like?
A steady, breath led flow that gently warms the body, builds confidence and finishes with a proper unwind.

Top Tip
Keep it simple. Rest whenever you need.

Power Ashtanga

with Stephen

Who's it for?
People who like structure, focus, and want a practice that builds discipline, strength, and clarity over time.

What does it feel like?
Strong, precise, movement with purpose, you learn the shapes, refine them, and progress.

Top Tip
You do not need to be flexible, you need to be willing.

Stability & Flow

with Julie

Who's it for?
People who want strength and mobility together, those who feel tight or stiff, anyone who wants a “reset” midweek

What does it feel like?
Grounded, strong, steady holds mixed with smooth flowing sequences

First Time Tip
Perfect starter strength class for beginners

Relaxing Restorative

with Stephen

Who's it for?
Nervous system reset, fatigue, burnout, sleep issues, high stress weeks. Perfect if you’re wired and tired.

What does it feel like?
Supported, calm, deeply restful. A true downshift for body and mind.

Top Tip
It is a practice, not a nap. The goal is to let the body be supported and allow the mind to soften.

Deep Stretch Yin

with Stephen

Who's it for?
Stress, tightness, busy minds, recovery days. People who want to slow down and get into the deeper layers of the body.

What does it feel like?
Slow, quiet, and deep. Long holds, minimal effort, lots of space to release tension and downshift the nervous system.

Top Tip
Discomfort is information, not a target. Use props, stay relaxed, and aim for steady breathing rather than “pushing”.

Yes. You can book on the website through the booking system, but I recommend using the app, it’s the easiest way to manage bookings and get waitlist notifications.

Arrival and Parking

Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to walk from the car park and settle in before we begin.

If this is your first visit, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you can watch the short directions video and locate the studio entrance comfortably. Ushaw is a big estate and it’s much nicer when you’re not rushing.

If you haven’t completed your health questionnaire yet, arriving early also gives you time to do that without feeling pressured.
Please do not enter the studio earlier than 20 minutes before class starts. This gives the teacher time to set up and prepare the room.

If you arrive very early, please wait outside or in the lobby until the teacher is ready to welcome you in.
Park in the main Ushaw car park, parking is free. If anyone asks, just say you are attending a Lone Wolf yoga class.
Use the East Wing door shown in the videos below. A teacher will meet you at the door before class. If you arrive and nobody is outside, use the buzzer and wait in the lobby.
Front access is not available at the moment due to the valuable books in the historic library, so please use the East Wing door route.
Car park to studio route map
I’m usually at the door until 6pm. After that, you can gain access by pressing the button on the intercom. Once inside, please wait in the lobby unless you already know the way to the studio.
If you are more than 5 minutes late, please respect the class and the atmosphere that’s set at the start and skip that session.

For soundbaths it’s more strict, entry closes at 6pm as late arrivals can unsettle the room.
Send me a WhatsApp and I’ll see it on my phone: 077399008228.

Cancellations and Passes

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please cancel at least 24 hours before class starts so someone else can take the space.
Join the waitlist. If a space opens, you’ll be auto notified through the app or by email, then you can book the space.
Class passes are valid for 12 months from purchase.

Classes and Beginners

These are the best starting points:
  • Tuesday Mindful Movement at 11am
  • Thursday Stability and Flow at 6pm
  • Friday Restorative at 6pm
Have a look at the class descriptions higher up on this page and choose based on what you need right now, strength, mobility, stress relief, recovery, or a deeper challenge. If you are unsure, message us and we’ll guide you.

What to Bring

Yes, all equipment is provided. You are welcome to bring your own mat or any personal kit if you prefer.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. The room is usually warm, but in very cold weather a jumper and socks can be a good addition, especially for more static sessions. We also have blankets available.

Injuries, Pregnancy, and Age

If it’s a general ache or pain, let the teacher know before class so we can offer options. If the injury feels more significant, it’s best to contact us first for advice so we can guide you to the right class or suggest one to one support.
Please ask before attending when pregnant. We’ll advise the safest option for you based on how you’re feeling.
Yes, classes are 16+.

Studio Etiquette

Shoes off at the door and phones on silent. If you arrive early, enter quietly and settle in so we can protect the atmosphere for everyone.
